# Last.FM

## What is Last.FM?

Last.FM is a website which tracks the music you listen to and provides statistics based on your listening history. You can register for a Last.FM account by clicking [here](https://www.last.fm/join).

## Creating a Last.FM account

    Go to the [Last.FM registration page](https://www.last.fm/join) and fill in info.

    Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your **email inbox** from Last.FM.

  <Step title="Linking your Spotify">
    To effectively track ur music, we suggest linking your [Spotify](https://spotify.com) account view the **Applications** tab in your account settings

## Connecting your Last.FM account

Use the `lastfm login` command to set account, after this kyos will automatically recognise it as your account.

## Known Issue!

### Last.FM Failure

If you see an unexpected error message (*or your nowplaying song is incorrect consistently*), it's possible that **Last.FM** is currently down.
